The area champions for the seven Class B tournaments have been decided and the field is set for the Nebraska American Legion Class B Seniors state tournament that begins Saturday at Hank Overin Field in Wayne.
Wayne will be the host team for the eight-team, double-elimination tournament and opens play Saturday with a 4 p.m. game against Lincoln Lutheran, the Area 4 champion. They will be on the half of the bracket that includes Area 2 champion Springfield and Area 5 champion Wahoo, who knocked Wayne out of the area tournament on Monday.
The tournament runs through Wednesday, Aug. 1, with the championship game set for either 5 or 7:30 p.m.

Game 2 — Bennington (3) vs. McCook (6), 1 p.m.
