With winter weather creating havoc in the area, the first day of the Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout has seen a change in plans with an updated schedule that begins Friday.
Gordon-Rushville is unable to make the trip east to play in the tournament due to the weather, so Wayne will have a first-round bye in both the boys and girls brackets. Games will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with placing games starting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
