Two programs separated by over 600 miles played Sunday afternoon as the NSIC South met the NSIC North.
From Herb Parker Stadium in Minot, North Dakota, the Wayne State College women’s soccer team visited Minot State University on Sunday.
The host Beavers came out of the halftime break scoring two goals within two minutes to win 2-0. WSC fell to 6-6-6 (5-4-4 NSIC) while Minot State improved to 9-3-4 (7-3-3 NSIC).
Minot State University goals were scored in the 48th (47:29) and 50th (49:19) minutes.
Reagan Allen recorded four shots with three on goal while Morgan Rhodes added two shots with one on goal. Riann Daas had two shot attempts.
Sidney Truman was in goal for all 90 minutes. She recorded seven saves but allowed two goals.
Minot State University outshot WSC, 18-8 including 9-4 on goal. The Beavers recorded six corner kicks compared to four by the Wildcats.
