The Wayne High softball team made the long trip to Hastings for the Adams Central Invitational on Saturday morning, only to find that recent rain, along with the imminent threat of more to come, forced cancellation of the tournament.
The Blue Devils, 17-3 on the season, play at Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Tuesday and are at Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Thursday before taking part in the Mid State Conference tournament on Saturday in Pierce.
