STATE WRESTLING -- Second day of action under way

OMAHA – The second day of the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships is under way at the Century Link Center in Omaha.

Ten area wrestlers are competing in consolation and semifinal action Friday. Seven area wrestlers are in first-round consolations, Winside’s Koby Ellis and Wakefield’s Moises Barboza will wrestle in the second round of consolations and Cody Thomas of Wakefield will compete in Friday evening’s semifinals.

First- and second-round consolations will be wrestled throughout the day, with semifinals and third-round consolations taking place Friday at 5 p.m. Consolation semifinals and all medal round matches will be wrestled on Saturday.
