Sydney Redden of Wayne is among 14 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students helping provide hospitality services at Augusta National Golf Club for the 2025 Masters Tournament.
The group left April 3 to begin training in Augusta, Georgia. The students will serve in a variety of roles for tournament operations. The contingent will return April 15.
"Working at the Masters Tournament has been a transformative experience for hospitality students, offering them a unique opportunity to learn, grow and make valuable connections in the industry," said Ajai Ammachathram, associate professor and director of the Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management program.
About 2,000 hospitality professionals are needed to provide service to participants, members and patrons of the golf club during the tournament's April 10-13 run.
