Tim Granfield was born March 23, 1958, in Kittery, Maine, and lived in Japan his first few years of life. He then grew up in Randolph and Carroll, Nebraska where he attended school.

He made many friends at his places of employment over the years; Big Circle Irrigation, Hamilton Telephone Company, Vancare, of course Korner 9 Still, and lastly All Points Trucking, where he always had his own wheels. Tim and Jodie were the proud owners of Korner 9 Still for over nin years, famously known for Daryl’s flat top burgers and egg sandwiches—favorites that left a lasting impression on many who visited.

Tim had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, camping, jeeping, and airboating. Whether deer hunting with his wife & daughter and celebrating with a shot of Blackberry Brandy or having all the river snacks and giving the kids Mountain Dew; he found joy in the outdoors surrounded by those who also enjoyed it. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, Pheasants Forever Charter Member, Friends of the NRA, and Sons of the American Legion Member.

As a devoted NASCAR fan, many successful, eventful, hilarious, and memorable trips were made to Kansas Speedway - with some of his favorite people.

Tim also enjoyed a good game of 10-point pitch at Christmas and the smack talk that went with it. He was known to appreciate a glass of wine among friends, especially with his mom, Lucille.

Those left cherish his memory are his wife, Jodie of Aurora; daughter, Kellie, of Grand Island; his mom, Lucille (Granfield) of Hampton; brothers and sisters Terry and Luann (Dilsaver) Granfield of Hampton, Tom  (Kristie) Granfield of Hoskins, Sharon (Ed)  North of O’Neill, Ben (Molly) Dilsaver of Lincoln, Barb (Ed) Cobb of Hampton, Renee Dilsaver of Elkhorn, Susan (Jim) Weaver of Harisonburg, Virginia; mother in law, Marcille Draghu of Wayne brother in law, David Draghu of LaVista; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and his very special Mak.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Granfield; mother Nancy Granfield, father in law Don Draghu, aunt Eileen Liese, and many other aunts & uncles.

Tim’s memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew him. May their adventurous spirit and cherished moments bring comfort to all who remember him.
