A wind storm on Tuesday night in Wayne left numerous trees down throughout the city. City crews spent more than two hours getting branches off the streets that night and more time on Wednesday cleaning up. The Electric Department responded to two calls of trees that took overhead power lines down on Tuesday and more on Wednesday. Winds estimated at more than 50 miles per hour were recorded in the area.
