Tri County Northeast falls at Homer

Following a home overtime win the week prior, Tri County Northeast was in search of back-to-back victories on the season.

From Homer, the visiting Wolfpack dropped a 46-26 decision at the host Knights.

The Allen/Emerson-Hubbard co-op fell to 1-6 as Homer picked up their first win on the year now at 1-6.

No quarter scoring was provided.

Wolfpack senior Thatcher Lamp finished 12-15 for 144 yards (long of 40) with one passing score and two interceptions. He also ran the ball 22 times for 101 yards (long of 20) and one rushing touchdown.

Sophomore Braxten Sebade led the receiving core with two receptions for 50 yards and also found pay dirt on the ground totaling 25 yards on seven rushes with one score. He recorded a successful two-point conversion.

Sophomore Knox Lamp tacked on two catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a fumble for six points.

Senior Devin Reinert added five carries for 31 yards and hauled in one reception for a yard.

Other receptions came from junior Landyn Servine (three catches for 25 yards) and sophomore Logan Morgan (four catches for 12 yards).

Freshman Ben Bousquet ran the ball once for 17 yards.

Thatcher Lamp led the Wolfpack defense with 11 tackles (four solo), a tackle for loss and a sack.

Sebade (seven solo, one fumble recovery) and Morgan (six solo) both added nine tackles.

Senior Nate Franzluebbers (three tackles, one solo) also had a tackle for loss.

Tri County Northeast will end their season on Friday, Oct. 17 hosting Guardian Angels Central Catholic (4-3) at 7 p.m. in Allen.
