Tri County Northeast girls and boys cross country runners were given a bye week from competition due to rain.
Upcoming invites for Wolfpack competitors will be Oct. 1 at the Stanton Invite at 4 p.m. (pending weather), Lewis and Clark Conference meet in Bloomfield on Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. and District action on Oct. 15 at Twin Creeks Golf Club in Pender.
A handful of matches took over the Tri County Northeast volleyball schedule.
Starting with a home triangular in Emerson on Sept. 24, TCNE dropped the match with Lyons-Decatur Northeast (12-25, 24-26) but won 2-0 over Winnebago (25-10, 25-15).
The Wolfpack then won in straight sets on Sept. 28 in Emerson over Wakefield (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) followed by a four-set loss at Wynot (25-18, 19-25, 16-25, 20-25) on Sept. 29.
TCNE now sits 9-5 on the season.
Following a week off from action due to a win by forfeit, Tri County Northeast looked to put back-to-back wins on the schedule.
From Emerson, the host Wolfpack secured a 50-6 victory over Oakland-Craig on Sept. 25.
TCNE is now 3-2 on the season.
