As the week continues, so does the trial involving the murder charges against 33-year old Carl F. Ruskamp, who is accused of murdering his father, 65-year old Gerald Ruskamp on Sept. 7, 2022.

Wednesday's portion of the trial began with jurors listening to the 9-1-1 call made by Carl Ruskamp on Sept. 7, 2022.

Several times during the call, Carl can be heard saying "I don't know what to do."

The first witness on Wednesday was Cuming County Chief Deputy Timothy Schultz.

State Patrol Investigator Timothy Doggett, who was with Schultz when the call came in, followed him to the scene.

Jurors were then shown a recording of the body cam footage from the scene and Schultz talked about his initial contact with Carl F. Ruskamp.
