A Pierce County couple died in an apparent murder-suicide on Sept. 2 at a residence in rural Osmond.
Around 7:10 a.m. that morning, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting two possibly deceased people at a rural residence north of Osmond, said Pierce County Attorney Ted Lohrberg in a press release.
Officers from the sheriff’s office and the Nebraska State Patrol responded and found two deceased individuals, each with a single gunshot wound. They were identified as Ashley Moes, 34, and Jordan Moes, 37.
