Both Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Wayne JV boys golfers were put on full display to open the week with an invitational.
From the Randolph Community Golf Course, eight varsity teams and one JV squad were showcased during the Randolph Invite on May 12.
The LCC boys golf team finished a 342 to place fourth where spots two through five were decided by two shots. The Blue Devil JV boys golfers shot a 385 to round out the eight teams in action.
Creighton won the Randolph Invite with a 312 as Bloomfield and Wausa both tied for second with a 341. Again, LCC placed fourth with a 342 followed closely by Pierce with a 343.
Creighton's Calvin Wilmes won the individual 18-hole outing with a 68 among 53 golfers.
A pair of LCC medalists were posted by Tanner Thompson in fifth with a 79 as Talon Carson shot an 82 to finish 12th.
Other results for the Bears came from Luke Erwin (89), Gibson Roberts (92) and Cade Johnson (95).
Wayne JV leaders were Waylon Huff with a 91 while Maddux Heithold and Jaxson Chase both shot a 97. Other Blue Devil JV results came from Hunter Nolte with a 100 as Eli Hansen finished with a 113.
