From Wayne, the Blue Devil boys picked up a 54-27 win against Boys Town.
The Wayne boys (9-6, won second straight) will next join their girls team (9-7) on Jan. 20 at Crofton at 6:15/7:30 p.m.
From Schuyler, the Wayne boys wrestling team finished 14th (59 pts) among the 16 teams.
Top Blue Devil medalists were posted by Grant Maas (157) in runner-up while Grady Maas (106) took third.
Maddox Ziska (285) placed fifth.
The Wayne boys wrestlers will next join their girls team during the Mid State Conference Championships on Jan. 24 at the Norfolk YMCA on Jan. 24 starting at 9:30 a.m. (girls at Battle Creek on Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m.).
From Plainview, the Tri County Northeast girls wrestlers finished 11th (54.5 pts), Laurel-Concord-Coleridge took 15th (26) and Winside placed 17th (15) among the 20 teams.
TCNE leaders were Kiya Tornez (155) finishing runner-up followed by Jenni Olson (100) in fourth.
Andrea Bacilio (105) and Jayda Stallbaum (135) both took fifth.
LCC top medalists came from Tae Settje (115) finishing fourth as Grace Galvin (140) took fifth.
Winside was led by a pair of sixth place medals by Avery Brummels (100) and Aspen Sellin (140).
The Tri County Northeast boys will next travel to Battle Creek on Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m. (boys off until Lewis and Clark Conference Championships in Homer on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m.).
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls are back on the mat on Jan. 19 at Battle Creek at 10:30 a.m. (boys next at GNAC championships in Plainview on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m.
Winside girls will return to action with their boys team on Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. during the Lewis and Clark Conference Championships in Homer.
From Neligh, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls basketball team won 64-32 while the LCC boys picked up a 35-25 victory at Neligh/Oakdale.
The LCC girls (10-6, won fourth straight) and boys (5-9, snapped four-game losing streak) will next visit Hartington-Newcastle on Jan. 20 starting at 4:45 p.m.
From Battle Creek, the Wakefield boys wrestling team finished 15th (40.5 pts) among the 21 teams.
Top Wakefield medalists were Hayden McAfee (120) and Lane Fischer (138) both finishing fifth. Baldwin Garcia (106) and Ruben Vega (165) each took sixth as Israel Garcia (126) placed eighth.
The Wakefield boys will next travel to the Madison Invite on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. (girls at Battle Creek on Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m.).
From Osmond, the Wakefield girls basketball team secured a 50-46 victory at Osmond.
The Wakefield girls (2-12, snapped two-game losing streak) will next join their boys team (7-6) at Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Jan. 20 at 6/7:30 p.m.
From Yankton, SD, the WSC women's and men's indoor track & field team competed in the Mount Marty Invite.

From Moorhead, MN, the Wayne State College men's basketball team lost 84-73 (dropped back-to-back) while the Wildcat women won their third straight thanks to a 68-51 win at MSU Moorhead.
The WSC men (9-8, 5-6 NSIC) and women (9-8, 4-7 NSIC) had their rescheduled game at Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 18 postponed again due to a blizzard warning in northern Minnesota.
The games have now been rescheduled and relocated to Wayne on Jan. 21 at 5:30/7:30 p.m. with the men's game played first.
