Colors will be posted by SSG Scott Chase and SGT Matt Poehlman, members of the National Guard 189th Transportation Company.

A welcome and Pledge of Allegiance to the flag will be led by Dr. Mark Lenihan, Superintendent of Wayne Community Schools.

The National Anthem will be sung by Wayne Elementary's sixth grade class.

Wayne High seniors Drew Miller and Jacen Hasemann will provide introductory remarks.

Several veterans will be honored during the Quilts of Valor presentation by the Quilt Shop Quilters.

Serving as this year's guest speaker will be Galen Wiser.

Following Wiser's presentation the Wayne High Band will  perform 'Marches of the Armed Forces' with veterans in attendance encouraged to stand as their military song is played.

A moment of silence and the playing of Taps will conclude this year's observance.
