WAED Banquet postponed

Posted

The Wayne Area Economic Development (WAED) Annual Banquet at the Beaumont Concert and Event Hall will be postponed until Sunday, March 27, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.

WAED has determined that a postponement will help protect the health and safety of guests, businesses, volunteers, and the Wayne Community.

Tickets for the WAED Annual Banquet are on sale now. Reservations are available for $300 per table (includes 8 drink tickets) or $35 per person. If patrons have already purchased or reserved tickets or tables for the 2022 banquet, they will be transferred to the new date. If patrons have already paid and are unable to attend the event on the new date, WAED will reimburse them.

The new deadline to reserve or cancel reservations is March 16.

The WAED Annual Banquet will feature the annual dessert and silent auctions. Recipients for Business of the Year, Most Valuable Patron, Educator of the Year, and Citizen of the Year will also be recognized on March 27.
