Wakefield football suffers home loss

Trojan football played a second straight home game in the month of Sept..

From Wakefield, Bloomfield was in town on Friday, Sept. 13.

Bloomfield picked up the 64-6 win to improve to 2-1 as Wakefield fell to 0-3.

The visiting Bees scored six points in the first quarter before outscoring Wakefield, 28-6 in the second quarter to lead 34-6 at the break. Bloomfield added 22 points in the third quarter and scored eight more points in the fourth.

Final favored Bloomfield winning 64-6.

The lone Wakefield score came from a 57-yard passing touchdown between Mason Lamprecht and Jesse Lundahl.

Mason Lamprecht was 1-2 passing for 57 yards and a touchdown. Carter Kratke led the rushing attack with 17 carries for 51 yards as Lundahl had the one touchdown grab of 57 yards.

No defensive stats were available.

The Wakefield football team will next visit Wisner-Pilger on Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
