Wakefield edged Plainview by one point to claim the runner-up trophy in the Lewis & Clark Conference meet on Thursday at LCC HIgh School.
The Trojans scored 190 points to Plainview's 189 for a second-place finish to champion Creighton, which finished with 217 points. Winside was fourth with 143 points and LCC finished ninth with 33 points.
Wakefield had three champions, with Cesar Sandoval (120), Charlie Lopez (126) and Isaac Verzani (145) taking individual titles.
Winside also had three champions, as Koby Ellis (113), Michael Jensen (182) and Jonathan Escalante (220) earned first-place finishes.
