As Wakefield will have a home match later this week, the Trojans took to the road for a single match following a busy set of competition during the Wakefield Invite.
From Howells-Dodge, Wakefield opened the week Tuesday night against the Jaguars.
Howells-Dodge jumped out to an early lead and held onto the four-set victory to improve to 6-5. Wakefield fell to 4-10.
Scores of the match favored Howells-Dodge, 25-20, 25-14, 22-25, 25-18.
Wakefield will next host a triangular on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with Walthill and Randolph in town.
