Top Class B Nebraska boys high school golfers competed for a top 10 individual finish or top three team finish where Wayne High closed out their season.
From Pioneers Golf Course in Lincoln, the Blue Devils were listed among the 12 teams on Monday during the B-3 District Championships.
Wayne High shot a 378 to tie for 10th with Fairbury.
WHS was led by Colson Nelsen and Dylan Jensen both with a 91.
Norris was crowned champion in the team race with a 299, Bennington followed with a 307 and Waverly was the third state qualifying team with a 312.
Bennington's Reid Thornburg won the playoff against William Barth from Gretna East after both shot a 71.
The 2025 NSAA Boys State Golf Championships are set for Wednesday and Thursday, May 28 - 29. Class A will compete at the Kearney Country Club in Kearney; Class B at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering, Class C at the Jackrabbit Run Golf Course in Grand Island as well as Class D at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.
