After competing in southcentral Nebraska last weekend, the Wayne boys wrestlers returned to area action to wrap up a busy pre-holiday break.
From Pierce, the Blue Devils were one of six teams listed on Friday during the Pierce Dual Tournament.
The Blue Devils began with a first round loss of 47-34 to Fremont, followed by a 66-6 loss to the host Pierce, a 52-24 loss to David City a 49-28 victory over Norris and 48-36 win against Cedar Catholic.

In the loss to Fremont, contested match victories came from Grady Maas (106) by major decision (10-1) over Tripp Riffel; Ethan Gregory (120) by fall (1:19) over Zachariah Hiatt; Ty Zach (144) by fall (1:45) over Jaxon Kurmel and Grant Maas (150) by fall (1:44) over Malachi Dalton.
