Wayne golfers last in home meet

The Wayne High boys golf team brought up the rear in the 16-team Mac Invitational held Thursday at the Wayne Country Club.
Jonah Brodersen had the low round of the day for the Blue Devils, shooting a 104, while Jayse Munsell shot a 108. Peyton DeWald (115), Garret Reynolds (116) and Zach Urbanec (117) rounded out the field for the host team.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge finished 15th with a 416, led by Trey Erwin with a 95. Karsen Klooz, Logan Hansen and Zach Dietrich all shot rounds of 107, while Billy Barelman had a 122.
West Holt won the tournament with a 336, defeating Lakeview by two shots. O’Neil was third with a 347. Blair’s Brandt Radloff was the medalist with a 76, finishing two shots ahead of Mason Hale of West Holt (78) and three ahead of Lakeview’s Colton Remm (79).
