From Randolph, #2 Tri County Northeast suffered a heart-breaker in five sets during the Lewis and Clark Conference finals against #1 Wynot (23-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-21, 9-15). In the third place match, #4 Homer swept #6 Wausa (25-10, 25-9, 25-16).

The Wolfpack claimed runner-up in the tourney and had their eight-match win streak snapped falling to 22-5. TCNE will await pairings for the Class D1 Subdistrict set to be announced on Oct. 23.
From Norfolk Catholic, the elimination round of the Mid State Conference bracket favored #7 Wayne in a five-set thriller over #6 Boone Central (20-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-7) with a reverse sweep.

The Blue Devils (19-12) will face #5 Cedar Catholic at 4:30 p.m. in the fifth place match on Oct. 23 at Rice Auditorium on the campus of Wayne State College.
The Mid State Conference consolation match will feature #2 GACC vs. #4 Battle Creek at 6 p.m. with the finals set for around 7:30 p.m. between #1 Norfolk Catholic and #3 Pierce all in Wayne at WSC.
#1 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge was back on their home court for the semifinal roud of the GNAC. LCC swept #4 Lutheran High Northeast (26-24, 25-10, 25-15) to improve to 27-3 winning their eighth straight.

The Bears will match up against #3 West Holt (won in five sets over #2 Elkhorn Valley) during the GNAC finals set to be played in Atkinson (West Holt) on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. The GNAC consolation match will open at 5:30 p.m. between #2 Elkhorn Valley and #4 Lutheran High Northeast.
It's been since the opening season matches on Aug. 28 at the Battle Creek triangular where LCC won 2-0 over West Holt (25-16, 25-12).
From Wakefield during senior night, the host Trojans suffered a 3-0 loss to Stanton (16-25, 11-25, 10-25).

Wakefield (2-24) will end their regular season at the Winnebago triangular along with Homer on Oct. 23. An updated location has been changed to Homer with first matches still starting at 5 p.m.
From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, #6 Wayne State College used a four-set victory (25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 25-15) at Augustana to defeat the Vikings for a second time this season (3-0, Sept. 23 in Wayne).
The Wildcats (18-3/11-1 NSIC) will next visit Bemidji State on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. and travel to #18 Minnesota Duluth the following day at 4 p.m.
