From Oakland during the C2-6 Subdistrict play-in game, #3 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge picked up a 63-27 victory over #6 Lutheran High Northeast.
The Bears (17-8, won third straight) will next face #2 Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. from the Oakland-Craig competition gym.
The LCC boys (8-14) are off until Feb. 20 closing out their regular season hosting Wynot starting at 6 p.m. Subdistrict pairings are scheduled to be announced on Feb. 17 for C1/C2/D1/D2 tournaments.

During a weather-shortened series, the Wayne State College baseball team dropped games of 6-4 (seven innings) and 9-3 (nine innings) at Missouri S&T in Rolla, MO.
The Wildcats (4-3) will next travel to Joplin, MO to open NSIC play against St. Cloud State (MN) Feb. 20-22 weather-permitting.
