Ralph Bishop League North Division semifinal play resumed for the Wayne and Wakefield Srs, both the Wayne White Ponies and Wayne Blue Didgets were in action during their respective Tri County League Tournaments and Dirt Devil 10s Red closed their season at home.

From Hartington, #2 Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 picked up a 3-0 victory over #3 Plainview in the Seniors RBL North Division semifinal.

Post 43 (15-2) will take a break in action during the Ralph Bishop League Tournament for a once-in-a-lifetime experience traveling to Dyersville, Iowa for a pair of doubleheaders on the 'Field of Dreams'.

The Wayne Srs will match up against Dakota Valley on July 1 at 6/8 p.m. followed by another DH against Post 184 Senior Railers from Wisconsin on July 2 also at 6/8 p.m.

The Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Srs will return to RBL tourney play on July 3 at #1 Hartington on July 3 at 8 p.m.

The winner will advance to face the RBL South Division winner while the loser will compete in the consolation round both on July 5 in Arlington.


Also in Hartington, #4 Wakefield Post 81 dropped an 8-0 decision at #1 Hartington.

Post 81 Srs (7-7) will next join their Jrs program (3-12) on July 8 hosting Creighton at 5:30/8 p.m. Jrs play first.


From Hooper Field hosted by Logan View, #1 Wayne White Ponies shutout #3 West Point Dodgers, 8-0 to claim the TRICO Pony tournament title.

Wayne White concludes their season at 15-1 overall.


From the Summer Sports Complex, #4 Wayne Blue Didgets suffered a 10-6 loss against #1 Battle Creek Grey during the Gold Division (Upper 16) semifinal.

Wayne Blue (11-3) will next compete in the consolation round against #3 Pender/Bancroft White on July 2 at 5:30 p.m. back in Wayne.


From the Summer Sports Complex, Dirt Devil 10s Red swept Wisner thanks to wins of 11-10 (Addysen Baumert stole home to win game in bottom of third) and 10-1.

The Dirt Devils end their summer at 13-18.
