Three locations were highlighted during day one of the NSAA subdistrict postseason volleyball tournament.
Tri County Northeast hosted the D1-4 while Wakefield and Wynot traveled to their respective subdistricts.
From Emerson-Hubbard High School, the top-seeded Wolfpack were tested early but won in four sets over #4 Lyons-Decatur Northeast (17-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-23). TCNE is now 23-5.
#1 Tri County Northeast will match up against #2 Cedar Catholic (12-18) on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. during the D1-4 Subdistrict final.

From Wynot High School during the D2-3 Subdistrict, #2 Winside suffered a hard-fought loss in straight sets against #3 Wausa (28-30, 15-25, 25-27).
The Wildcats ended their season at 13-14.

In Battle Creek for day one of the C1-6 Subdistrict, #5 Wakefield ended their season with a 3-0 loss to #4 Scotus Central Catholic (17-25, 10-25, 16-25).
The Trojans closed the year at 3-26.

Day two of the C1-6 Subdistrict will open with #1 Battle Creek (18-12) vs. #4 Scotus (11-18) at 5:30 p.m. followed by #2 Wayne (20-12) vs. #3 O'Neill (14-17) at 7 p.m.
#2 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (28-3) received a bye during the C2-6 Subdistrict. LCC will open postseason play on Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. in Oakland against #3 Elkhorn Valley (15-13) followed by #1 Oakland-Craig (26-6) vs. #4 Ponca (13-17) at 7:30 p.m.
