The Wayne High Athletic Booster Club honored student-athletes with its annual banquet Wednesday at Wayne High School.
Several students were presented awards during the evening's celebration of what has been one of the most successful years in the school's long history. Combined, the varsity teams at WHS have won three state titles (with a fourth to be determined with state baseball next week), five district titles and three district runner-up trophies, along with numerous individual state honors.
In addition, three additions to the Wayne High Athletic Hall of Fame were recognized, including athletes Lynn Lessman (1968 grad), Bryan Fink (2004 grad) and the 2003 and 2004 state championship softball teams.

Terry Johnson Award -- Haley Kramer and Brooklyn Kruse.
Rocky Ruhl Athletic Scholarship -- Zach McManigal and Brooklyn Kruse.
Moller Memorial Award -- Bo Armstrong and Laura Hasemann.
Brian "Dink" Denklau Memorial Bowling Scholarship -- Shayne Geidner and Riley Haschke.
Sportsmanship Award -- Bo Armstrong and Laura Hasemann.
Stan Stednitz Memorial Cross Country Award -- Easton Blecke and Laura Hasemann.
Larry Gamble Memorial Award -- Joseph Woerdemann and Macy Wilson.
