Following a series of 10 straight home matches, Wayne High volleyball took to the road Thursday evening.
From Stanton, WHS visited the Mustangs in a best of five set match.
The host Mustangs won in straight sets to improve to 11-9. The Blue Devils fell to 12-10.
Scores of the match favored Stanton 25-16, 25-14, 25-17.
Junior Elle Powicki (one dig/one block) and junior Haley Kramer (11 digs/one block) both recorded a team-high seven kills; sophomore Mallory Redden posted 23 assists and six digs as sophomore Addison Frank led the team in digs with 13.
Sophomore Naomi Lipp added six kills and one dig; senior Amelia Legler tallied four kills and four digs; sophomore Alexis Legler tacked on two kills, one dig and two blocks as junior Megan Magnuson had one kill. Other digs came from junior Jacen Hasemann (nine).
Kramer, Hasemann and Powicki all finished with a service ace.
