A weekend road outing took over the junior high school for Wayne girls basketball.
From Pierce, the Wayne seventh and eighth graders visited Pierce JH on Saturday.
The Wayne eighth graders suffered a 35-22 loss while the Blue Devil seventh graders won 18-11.
In the eighth grade outing, Hannah Hank posted a team-high 12 points. Other scoring came from Tayla Hurner and Lainey Meyer (four each) as well as Lilly Redden (two).
During the seventh grade game, Hadley Dunklau led Wayne with 10 points. Other scoring came from Ady Hays and Penelope Zavala-Cupp
