With a third outing in five days set for Monday, the Wayne Junior High boys wrestlers took part in their third invite in the month.
From Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools, the Blue Devil seventh and eighth graders joined 13 other teams during the Howells-Dodge Invite.
The Wayne Junior High boys finished sixth with 110 total match points.
Schuyler won the JH boys division with 245 points, Neligh-Oakdale followed in runner-up with 182 points, Howells-Dodge took third with 174 points, Aquinas Catholic placed fourth with 145 points and Clarkson/Leigh rounded out the top five teams with 136 points.
The Blue Devil JH wrestling program was led by Isaiah Zarate (118-124) finished runner-up.
Blake Heithold (88-92) placed third as Jesus Ozuna (166-190), Joshua Carrillo (127-136) and Jesus Ozuna (166-190) all took fourth
Other points were accumulated by Gerson Torres (112-121) with four points along with Tyler Daniels (71-91), Jaiver Zavala (126-132) and Jude Arehart (152-168) all with three points as well as Clifton Kaup (145-159) with one point.
Jesus Vargas (135-142) was also in action.
The Wayne Junior High girls wrestling season will begin on Jan. 18. A home invite is scheduled for Jan. 31.
