Wayne and Laurel-Concord-Coleridge sent partial teams to the West Point-Beemer Invitational golf tournament on Thursday at Indian Hills Golf Club in Beemer.
Megan Keiser shot 114 for the Blue Devils, which was out of the top 15 medalists.
"Megan hit the ball extremely well today but the greens ended up to be her
Achilles heel," coach Josh Johnson said. "The good thing is we know what we need to work on and can address that next week in practice."
Brooke Young finished third overall to lead LCC, carding a 96. Nicole Hanson shot a 112 and Lyndsey McCoy had a 119. Shelby-Rising City won the meet with a 433, eight shots ahead of Bennington. West Point-Beemer's Lacie Fox was the medalist, finishing with a 77.
Both Wayne and LCC are playing Friday in the Wayne Invitational at the Wayne Country Club.
