Wayne High's Mock Trial team, Raj Tahal earned the right to compete in state competition by winning Region 6 Mock Trial finals in Madison.
Wayne competed against South Sioux City representing the United States government in the case. Wayne went on to win the Region 6 finals match and earn a trip to the Nebraska Mock Trial competition on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 10-11 in Lincoln.
Members of the team include Mason Ley, Parker Kesting, Ava Elliott, Nyamalo Kantai, Aidan Bohnert, Liberty Titiml, Adrienne Anderson, Maddie Franta, and Jordyn Clinchard.
Earlier this season, the team won their advanced round match against Lutheran High Northeast. This win allowed them to move on the regional competition.
The team is coached by Josh Johnson, with assistance from Sandy Brown and Robert Ensz.
