A busy three days of action concluded the season for Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43.
From Springfield during the Class B American Legion Baseball American Division Tournament, Wayne went from top of the world in a walk-off win to back-to-back three-run losses after leading in both games.
To begin the divisional round, Wayne secured an 8-5 win on August 1 over Lincoln Christian in nine innings thanks to a walk-off grand slam by Gavin Anderson.
The following night favored Seward in a 7-4 decision before Wayne dropped another 7-4 outing against Crete in the elimination round on August 3.
The Post 43 Seniors end their summer campaign at 24-9.
The other August 3 elimination game favored Lincoln Christian over McCook, 10-7.
Seward and Mount Michael are in action among the two, 2-0 teams during the winners bracket.
