On Sept. 24 Wayne State College was made aware of an alleged sexual assault that took place on campus on Sept. 21.
In response, the college sent out a Timely Notification Bulletin, in accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act.
"Wayne State College is deeply committed to the safety of our students," said Jay Collier, Director of College Relations. "We hope all individuals will take necessary precautions to stay safe."
Due to Title IX regulations, the college is unable to comment, even on rumors.
"If individuals have information they would like to provide we will document their reports and follow up as appropriate," Collier said.
