The Wayne State track and field teams came away with a pair of wins during the Doane College Relays on Saturday in Crete.
On the men’s side, Robert Sullivan and Nick Fly both recorded wins. Sullivan won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.12 seconds, and also finished seventh in the high jump (6-4). Fly won the 1,500-meter run in 4:05.81, and was also ninth in the 800 (1:59.69).
On the women’s side, Ellen Wulf was the top finisher, taking third in the long jump at 17 feet, 10 1/4 inches. Wayne native Rachel Rauner finished sixth in both the 100 and 200.
Next action for the Wildcats is at Wednesday’s Mount Marty Twilight Meet in Yankton, S.D.
