Wayne State radio station KWSC participating in 'Vinylthon'

Posted

The Wayne State College student-run radio station, KWSC-FM 91.9 The Cat, will spin strictly vinyl throughout the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, April 20-21, along with more than 200 radio stations worldwide. The goal is 48 continuous hours of vinyl recordings.

Vinylthon is an annual event working to inspire the next generation of radio professionals. This is the second year of participation by KWSC-FM. Vinylthon also raises funds for the College Radio Foundation.

Earlier this year, KWSC-FM received a $1,500 grant from the foundation, which will be used to enhance the learning experience of Wayne State students.
