Due to extreme wind and snow in northeast Nebraska that forced numerous road closures, the Wayne State vs. Southwest Minnesota State match at the NSIC Volleyball Tournament semifinals in St. Paul, Minn. on Saturday has been moved from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Numerous high-profile vehicles in the area have overturned due to high winds, forcing eighth-ranked Wayne State not being able to travel to St. Paul until Saturday morning and forcing the delay of the contest.
The 24-6 Wildcats, coming off a big win over No. 2-ranked Minnesota Duluth on Wednesday, face fourth-ranked Southwest Minnesota State. The 2:30 p.m. matchup between top-ranked Concordia-St. Paul and No. 6 Winona State will go on as scheduled.
