Wayne State College senior forward Christina Stasi collected another post-season academic award Monday as she was named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women’s Scholar All-West Region Third Team.
Last week, Stasi became the first-ever Academic All-American in the 22-year history of Wayne State College women’s soccer when she was voted to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Women’s Soccer Team receiving Third Team honors. The award was voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The Millard North graduate carries a 4.0 grade-point average majoring in sociology and psychology.
