The Wayne High boys basketball team will face O'Neill in the C1-4 district finals on Monday at 7 p.m. at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
The game will be a rematch of a Jan. 3 matchup between the two teams, a game won on a buzzer-beat by the Blue Devils 55-53 at O'Neill.
The 19-7 Blue Devils won the C1-7 subdistrict with a 56-39 win over West Point-Beemer on Thursday at Norfolk High School. O'Neill, 22-2, defeated Broken Bow 61-47 in the C1-8 subdistrict final on Saturday in Atkinson.
The winner of Monday's game will advance to next weeks State Boys Basketball Championships in Lincoln. Neither team is in position for a wild card, as Wahoo and the loser of the Columbus Scotus-Winnebago district final will likely earn the two wild card bids.
