Just as many in the area had games postponed due to weather on May 19, games were rescheduled for the Wayne White Broncos and Didgets to Thursday, May 22 for Tri County League play.
Back at the Summer Sports Complex in Wayne, the Wayne White Broncos picked up a 16-1 victory over Logan View Gold along with the Wayne White Didgets winning 6-2. The Wayne White Broncos are now 2-1 while Wayne White Didgets improved to 3-0.
In the Broncos outing, Wayne White scored most of their runs with nine in the home half of the fourth inning.
Braden McManigal singled twice, doubled, drove in four runs and scored three times as Maxon Judd doubled, drove in two runs and scored.
Caysen Gamble singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Aiden Kesting singled and drove in a run; Mason Nelson singled and scored twice; Gage Kimmel accounted for two RBI and a run scored; Ryan Loberg tacked on a RBI and three runs scored; Sy Chase added a RBI and two runs scored; Sutton Saltzman tallied a RBI and run scored as Isaiah Wright scored.
Kimmel (73 pitches) picked up the complete game victory in four innings allowing an earned run off four hits while striking out 10 batters, walking two and hitting one.
During the Didgets contest, Wayne White trailed 2-0 through three and a half innings until scoring twice in the home half of the fourth and closed with a four-run fifth to win 6-2. Wayne White outhit Logan View Gold, 7-6.
Weston Nelson doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored twice; Maxx Wohlers doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored as Lincoln Nelson doubled and drove in a run.
Liam Heiser singled and drove in a run; Conner Fox singled and scored twice as Isaac McPhillips scored.
Wohlers (49) picked up the win in the final three hitless innings of relief allowing two hits while striking out seven batters and walking two. Trexton Ocampo (33) started the opening two innings allowing two earned runs off three hits while striking out six batters, walking one and hitting two. Baylen Biermann (11) worked an inning allowing one hit.
