Wayne's Nelsen; LCC's Roberts set to compete opposite of each other one last time; All-Star game set for May 30

Two girls and two boys teams have been selected to represent their schools and communities during the 42nd annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star basketball game.

From the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk on the campus of Northeast Community College, the games will tipoff at 6/8 p.m. on Friday, May 30 starting with a girls contest. Admission for the games will be $7 for adults and $5 for entering grades K-12 (Pre-K is free).

Wayne graduate Colson Nelsen and future Morningside Mustang (basketball) will represent the 'Light Team' while Gibson Roberts, a graduate from Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and setting his sights on basketball at Doane will be on the 'Dark Team'.

Coaches for the boys game are Lee Heimes from Wynot and Gary Eisenhauer from Bloomfield for the 'Light Team' going against Brett Kaczor from Summerland and Ryon Nilson from Creighton for the 'Dark Team'.

Coaches for the girls game are Maggie Moon from Crofton and Jason Dolliver from Pender for the 'Light Team' along with Randy Eisenhauer from Elgin Public/Pope John and Scott Guzinski from Oakland-Craig for the 'Dark Team'.
