Dirt Devil 14U concluded their season on the final day of the Class C state tourney as both Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 American Legion baseball teams were in action on championship Sunday during the Ralph Bishop League tourney.

One last time from the Smith Complex in Hastings, the Dirt Devil 14s were perfect in the win column on their way to winning the USA Softball 14U Class C Nebraska State Championship.

The Dirt Devils began July 5 action with a 4-1 win over Lincoln Eclipse 14U followed by a 15-3 victory against Adams Silver 14U to advance to the finals.

In the championship game, Dirt Devil 14U secured a 6-2 win over the McCook Rebels to win their 15th straight game.

All Dirt Devil teams have now completed their summer season.

Dirt Devil 16/18s finished 24-13-2, Dirt Devil 14s closed 31-9-1, Dirt Devil 12s posted a 3-29-1 summer record, Dirt Devil 10s Black went 12-16-1 and Dirt Devil 10s Red finished 13-18.

From Arlington, Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 competed twice to conclude the Ralph Bishop League Tourney.

In the RBL Senior Finals, North Division #2 Wayne suffered a 4-1 loss to South #2 Pender.

Earlier in the day during the RBL Juniors consolation round, North Division #6 Wayne dropped an 11-0 loss to South #1 West Point.

Post 43 Srs (16-4) return to action on July 10 hosting Tecumseh/Johnson Post 2/330 Srs at 5 p.m. (previously at 7 p.m.).

Post 43 Jrs (12-7) will open the Class B Area 5 Tournament in West Point. #3 Wayne will face #6 Arlington at 5 p.m. on July 10.

B5 Junior Area Bracket can be found up top of the article in the photos along with the Class C Area 2 Tournament in Ponca for Wakefield Post 81 Jrs (3-11). Both the Post 81 Jrs and Srs (7-7) close out their regular season on July 8 hosting Creighton-Bloomfield-Wausa at 5:30/8 p.m.
