The 2025 Citizen of the Year award recipient was Carter "Cap" Peterson. Making the presentation was the 2024 recipient, Scott Brummond. Named the 2025 Educator of the Year was Alina Surber, Family and Consumer Sciences Instructor at Wayne Community Schools. Making the presentation was Maggie Gubbels, the 2024 recipient. Photos three and four: the Cruise Main in Wayne Committee received the Patron of the Year Award at this year's Wayne America Banquet. Making the presentation was Wayne America Executive Director Luke Virgil (right). Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust was named the Business of the Year at the banquet. Making the presentation was Rachel Miller (second from right), Assistant Director of Membership and Chamber Services. Information was shared on both sets of honorees on how they have contributed to the community.
