Wilcox joins staff at White Farmhouse Realty

Shelby Wilcox is the newest member of the White Farmhouse Realty staff.

Although she has been interning with Trisha Peters and learning about the real estate business for the last year, she recently completed her real estate classes and spent the last few weeks applying for her real estate license.

The Pawnee City native attended Wayne State College where she earned a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Agri Business.

"In addition to interning with Trisha, I have been working at State Nebraska Bank, with a long-term goal of selling real estate," Wilcox said. "I am open to selling all types of real estate."

She noted the real estate market is in somewhat of a holding pattern right now, but anticipates that will change as interest rates come down.

"I am very excited to be working at White Farmhouse Realty. Trisha has been very helpful and given me lots of good advice. I have learned so much from her," Wilcox said.

"Shelby puts her heart into everything she does, and she has a quiet confidence that lends itself to a career in real estate. She is ambitious and unafraid to work as evidenced by her desire to intern at White Farmhouse while she finished her degree at Wayne State College. By doing this, she developed a solid base of real estate knowledge and skills to help her hit the ground running. I am excited to see her career take off as she continues to grow and learn about the industry as a member of our team," said Trisha Peters,  Broker/Owner of White Farmhouse Realty, LLC.

In her spare time, Shelby enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. She also like to attend her nieces and nephews sporting events.

Wilcox said she is excited to begin her real estate career with her slogan, "Real Estate with Heart - Because Home Matters."
