Wildcat softball, baseball scores

Wayne State College softball moved a pair of doubleheaders indoors while the Wildcat baseball team played a road series on a neutral field.

From the Dr. Ron Holt field inside the Wildcat Dome, WSC softball entertained St. Cloud State on April 3 and welcomed Concordia-St. Paul on April 4.

The Wildcats won 4-1 but lost 9-2 to SCSU while picking up a 3-0 win but suffering a 1-0 loss to CSP.

The Wayne State College softball team (28-8, 8-4 NSIC) will next host Augustana scheduled for April 7 with games being moved up to 1/3 p.m. and now set to be played inside the Wildcat Dome (previously scheduled for 2/4 p.m. outdoors pending weather).

From Memorial Field in Kearney, the Wayne State College baseball team split with Minot State by winning 8-3 but dropping a 6-5 decision in 10 innings on April 3. On April 4, WSC lost 4-1.

The Wildcats (20-13, 12-8 NSIC) will next visit Minnesota State-Mankato on April 8 at 1:30/3:30 p.m.
