Wildcat women's golf completes first rounds of season

With 18 teams and 90 golfers in action, the Wayne State College women began their Fall 2025 season.

From the Adams Pointe golf course in Blue Springs, Missouri, WSC was in action on September 2 - 3.

WSC finished with rounds of 311 and 304 to place eighth overall with a 615.

Central Missouri (292/294) held off Nebraska-Kearney (295/305) with a 586 compared to a 600 by the Lopers.

The top Wildcat female golfers were Hailey Kenkel (78/76) tying for 27th as Erica Lee (74/81) finished in a tie for 33rd.

Other WSC results came from Saffire Sayre (78/78) who tied for 41st while Gaia Stancikova (83/74) and Camryn Johnson (81/76) both tied for 48th.

Henderson State's Lily Nelson closed with a four-under PAR posting back-to-back two-under rounds for a 140.

The Wayne State College women's golf team will next travel to Lake City, Minnesota for the Winona State/Jewel Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, September 22 - 23.
