Wildcat women’s golf places third behind third place finish from Brodersen

A second round of 18 holes closed out the Women’s Fall Brawl for Wayne State College.

Back at the Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wisconsin, the top three teams showed no change from Monday into Tuesday.

Wayne State College remained third overall following rounds of 325 and 318 (best score of day two) to total a 643.

Abbigail Brodersen moved up three spots from day one with rounds of 78 and 77 to place third with a 155 while Camryn Johnson improved her placing by 20 spots thanks to rounds of 84 and 77 to tie for 11th with a 161.

Other results came from Saffire Sayre tied for 13th (81/82), Hailey Kenkel tied for 21st (84/82), Erica Lee tied for 25th (82/85) and Meg Thompson finished 52nd (90/90).

Sioux Falls won the Golden Bear Fall Brawl thanks to rounds of 308 and 326 to total 634 while Winona State finished runner-up with a 640 (317/323).

Ellie Behring from Winona State won the Fall Brawl with a 149 (74/75) among the 67 golfers.
