The Wayne State volleyball team dropped two spots to No. 4 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Div. II poll.
Wayne State fell two spots after losing to then-No. 4 Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday. The Mustangs fell one spot to No. 5 after losing to now-No. 14 Augustana on Thursday.
Nine of the top 11 teams in the poll are out of the Central Region, including six Northern Sun Conference schools – No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul, No. 2 Minnesota Duluth, No. 9 Winona State and No. 11 Northern State. Other Central Region teams in the top 11 include No. 3 Nebraska-Kearney, No. 7 Central Oklahoma and No. 10 Central Missouri.
Also ranked this week from the Central Region is No. 18 Washburn and No. 22 Northwest Missouri State from the MIAA Conference.
