Four Wayne State student-athletes will represent the Wildcats in the NCAA Div. II track and field championships, set for May 23-25 in Kingsville, Texas.
Mckenzie Scheil is the only Wayne State woman qualifier this year, ranked 17th in the women's hammer throw. She will compete in her event on Thursday beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Both Cade Kalkowski and Dylan Kaup qualified in the men's hammer throw, coming in 15th and 16th, respectively. Their competition will begin Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
Robert Sullivan is seeded 11th for the men's decathlon. The two-day, 10-event competition will start Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and continue through Friday.
