The Wayne State volleyball team stayed No. 1 in the latest AVCA DIv. II Top 25 coaches poll, their eighth straight week at the top of the poll.
Wayne State received 43 of 47 first-place vote after going 3-0 last week with three-game sweeps over No. No. 6 Southwest Minnesota State, Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State.
The Wildcats clinched a second straight NSIC regular season title with last week’s wins. The 26-1 (17-0 NSIC) Wildcats close the regular season Saturday with a 1 p.m. home matchup against No. 9 St. Cloud State.
